Not ready to leave the lakes and mountains yet!

Next destination was Lake Tekapo where I finally found a place for my hammock

we spend a quiet night there with some laundry and homemade pizza.

and slowly made our way up to Christchurch the next day.

We drove up to Arthurs pass and found another interesting cave to explore. Unfortunately I wasn’t ready to go waistdeep through icy cave water so we didn’t get far

we spent the night in Sheffield behind the Sheffield pub and enjoyed some giant burgers for dinner

In the morning we met Doetie and Jelle for coffee and lunch

in Kaikoura where we are now we enjoyed a nice sunset
