Waitomo

Good morning!

It’s already Monday here and we arrived in Rotorua yesterday.

We woke up at Brock’s farm close to Hobbiton and moved south to Waitomo where we had booked a tour in the glow worm caves. If you ever go to NZ please book a tour with Spellbound!! They have amazing guides and we learned so much about caving, glow worms (actually larvae) and the history of NZ and it’s (extinct) animals.

After we spent more than 2 hrs underground with thousands of glow worms we drove towards Rotorua. We walked around town and then sat in the campsite’s thermal pools under the stars! (More glow worms ☺️)
